KONAMI has named six bosses so far: The Fallen, Joan of Arc, Medusa, Isaac, Carmilla and Death, and says there are more. The achievement list shows the full count: 13 boss fights, Dracula included. The fights start with The Fallen in the Paris sewers and end at Dracula's Castle.
Which bosses are in Castlevania: Belmont's Curse?
These are the six bosses KONAMI has introduced:
| Boss | What you need to know |
|---|---|
| The Fallen | Rose's first threat in the sewers; fought on the Path of the Rat in Paris Streets. |
| Joan of Arc | A French heroine who received a divine revelation and fought in the Hundred Years' War. |
| Medusa | A giant serpent-bodied monster whose gaze turns people to stone. |
| Isaac | A devil forgemaster who creates and commands demons; his first confrontation involves an illusion. |
| Carmilla | A vampire awaiting Rose in Dracula's Castle, wearing a bloodstained dress. |
| Death | Dracula's right-hand man, carrying a scythe that can cut through space. |
For The Fallen, hit two or three times per opening, then back off. Beating him gives you the Arcane Whip and Holy Cross.
How many bosses are in Castlevania: Belmont's Curse?
Thirteen, counting Dracula. The boss achievements use tarot card titles instead of names (Joan of Arc is the Warrior, Medusa is the Prophetess), and together they list every fight: the Fallen, the Warrior (Joan of Arc), the Prophetess (Medusa), the Judge, the Builder, the Occultist, the Shadow, the Miser, the Brittle King, the Temptress, the Self and the Zealot, and finally Dracula. The Brittle King's achievement is called "I am Arthur, King of the Britons", so that's the Arthur fight people search for. The achievements page has every unlock condition.
Where is Isaac's true body in Castlevania: Belmont's Curse?
Isaac's true body guards Dracula in the clock tower, while the Isaac you confront outside the castle is an illusion.

Outside the castle, Isaac admits that Death bound his soul to the castle and that Rose has only been fighting an illusion. His real body is in the clock tower, guarding Dracula while he regains his strength, and that's where the real fight happens.
Isaac has a history with Trevor Belmont. When Rose identifies Trevor as her father, Isaac taunts her about Death and her father; her companion warns that he is baiting her.
Where do you meet Carmilla in Castlevania: Belmont's Curse?
Carmilla confronts Rose alongside Isaac outside Dracula's Castle, and awaits her within the castle.

It's spelled Carmilla, not Camilla. At this encounter, Isaac claims the fight and Carmilla asks him to send Rose to her alive.
How do you avoid Death's scythe in Castlevania: Belmont's Curse?
Swinging around the huge cathedral lets you avoid Death's screen-slashing scythe.
The RPGFan reviewer called Death their favorite boss and the one they died to most. The fight takes place in a huge cathedral, and swinging around it with the whip is how you stay clear of his scythe, which slashes across the whole screen.
Who is Medusa in Castlevania: Belmont's Curse?
Medusa is a serpent-bodied boss and one of Dracula's guardians, whose gaze has turned people to stone.

Rose recognizes Medusa from Trevor's warning and calls her a servant of Dracula who speaks lies. Medusa answers that Rose's parents should have looked closer when they thought they had defeated her. The fight itself is covered in the Cemetery and Underground Ruins walkthrough.
Who is the final boss in Castlevania: Belmont's Curse?
Dracula. Both the normal and the true ending start right after Rose defeats him, and beating him has its own achievement, "Die monster! You don't belong in this world!".
Where is Dracula in Castlevania: Belmont's Curse?
Dracula is guarded by Isaac's true body in the clock tower while he gathers his full strength.
Count Dracula is the immortal vampire king and lord of Dracula's Castle.
What happens after you beat him depends on which ending you get; see ending explained.
